How to set up Notepad++
How to set up Notepad++:
- Get the Notepad++ text editor for Windows.
- Get the Python programming language.
- Get the PythonScript for Notepad++ plug-in.
PythonScripts can go either here: <Notepad++ program folder>\plugins\PythonScript\scripts
(for machine-level scripts)
or here %APPDATA%\Notepad++\plugins\config\PythonScript\scripts
(for user-level scripts).
You can add there also a customizable start-up script, to be run after the original one; just save it as startup.py.
And change the initialisation type from LAZY
to ATSTARTUP
(Notepad++: Plugins -> PythonScript -> Configuration).
