Windows: Adding a font to the console

Adding a font to the console:

Open the registry (with regedit.exe) and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Console/TrueTypeFont.
Add a key of type REG_SZ with the name 00 and the value Consolas (or whatever the font is called!).
Reboot. Apparently the reboot is important otherwise you won’t get the correct results and you might end up with the “MS Sans Serif” font instead.
