Windows: Adding a font to the console
Adding a font to the console:
-
Open the registry (with regedit.exe) and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Console/TrueTypeFont
. -
Add a key of type REG_SZ with the name
00
and the valueConsolas
(or whatever the font is called!). -
Reboot. Apparently the reboot is important otherwise you won’t get the correct results and you might end up with the “MS Sans Serif” font instead.
